Very good catering in 2 1/2 weeks, very nice family, also highly praised by my 2 colleagues, greetings to the Reindl Lehmaier families

A very nice family business, friendly and competent. Well furnished rooms, good breakfast with everything you could want. The price-performance ratio is hard to beat.

Friendliness is still very important here. The breakfast is rich and above average despite Corona. Dinner is also very good. The rooms are solid and clean. This was my second stay at this hotel, and when I'm in the area I'll check in again.

Nice hotel, nice staff. Rooms nice. Kitchen - dinner good. Unfortunately, the poorer breakfast, which was a disappointment, does not correspond to this.

Very nice country hotel. The rooms are big and spacious. The mattresses in the beds are very comfortable and not saggy. The bathroom was very clean and in my case with a floor-level shower, from which not all the water in the bathroom was distributed! The furniture may have gotten a bit old, but makes a very neat impression! The breakfast buffet is a normal breakfast buffet with the usual dishes such as, cheese, sausage (pork), rolls, bread, yoghurt, jam ... The delicious, strong, coffee is a jug.

Very nice large and very tastefully furnished inn. There are different event rooms or guest rooms which are easy to reach for people with walking difficulties. The decor offers a nice mix of modern and traditional-rustic. The food tastes great and with a decent size of portions ... no one goes hungry home. The service is still to be highlighted! The girls are really on the ball and they are very friendly!

Are guests with a group of 10 people. Food and service really great! Unfortunately, 2/10 people had to wait about 10 minutes longer for the main course. The salad buffet was unfortunately a little choice and loveless.

Nice hotel and great price. Good food and nice beer garden. Not close to town though, if that's important to you.

Located in Central Kastl, beautiful small town in middle of 'Oberpfälzer Wald'. Rooms clean and perfect for our familiy

This place is special to me, so I am a bit biased. Experiencing this place as a young teenager many years ago, the Forsthof was the best place in town to get a good meal. This still applies from their fresh salad bar, clean rooms, great service (always with a smile) and the fantastic authentic German cuisine. I will always make it an important destination when visiting Bavaria, Germany! Thank you to the whole staff!

Super!

Very nice traditional Bavarian feel with classy furniture... it is located in the heart of kastl which is a beautiful Bavarian village seemingly built in a large depression or ravine. Each room has a patio so you can enjoy the veiw. The restaurant attached is also pretty good!!!
